Location of the motel is good, but our experience was bad. One of the beds had bloody stains, the shower knob kept falling off, the hair dryer was very dirty and didn't work. The walls in the breakfast area were covered in stains and a very visible lump of hair was laying on the floor that nobody bothered to clean up.
Excellent service and well put up rooms. For some reason my room booking got jumbled up due to time zone difference I believe and I ended up reaching to the hotel a day after my booking. The manager was quite helpful and let me book a room for the night and refunded my previous night's booking error. The room was neatly made and Direct TV with almost all channels, that was welcoming. Would stay there again if passing through the panhandle again.
The staff at Roadway was so helpful and kind. We were in an unexpected situation to find a hotel room during a busy holiday weekend, and Roadway Inn delivered. The rooms were clean and comfortable with new carpet, bedding and paint. We were very grateful to have found this hotel and the staff there was extremely professional and friendly. A great place to stay as you are traveling.
Room was great for my coworker and I. Had a flat screen TV with basic Direct TV i believe. Carpets were clean, the shower had two settings, hot and scalding hot. Pool was clean and so was the parking lot. We stayed two nights. On the morning of check out I took advantage of their free breakfast and it was pretty darn good, cereal and waffles. The dining area was small yet quiet, I was the only one. My only complaint was that they put us next door to a man that they had said had been there for a little while and as soon as we parked and started getting unloaded we received a call from the front desk saying that we had to move our vehicle to give him room to access his vehicle in the handicap spot which was parked right on the line. Then our last night since we had a first floor non smoking room we week at outside to smoke and check our laundry, granted it was 4am, he was waiting at his door with it wide open said that we were being too loud. I then went to get change for the dryer and as soon as I approach the office the night clerk comes out threatening me saying that he's received three complaints about us yelling outside, which we barely talked at all while smoking, and that he was about to throw us off the property. I pleaded with him and then he refused to give me change and told me quote, "I don't want to see you out of your room for the rest of the night". All because that VIP next door had his truck parked directly outside our door and that's where we were smoking, near his truck. Everything else was great except that they were catering to one customer's wants, not needs, and treating us like we were nothing. If I could score that one thing separately I would give only one star, but since everything else was great I give it there stars. I'm not a vacationer, I'm a local who works close by. So be weary of the male night clerk with grayish hair and glasses, he is a word I will not put on here. Other than that the rest of the staff I encountered were excellent and because of them I would stay here again.
Great place i stay here a couple times a year got here tonight young man behind the counter was very helpful and polite went out of his way to help me and make sure my stay was great thank you
