Signs are misleading about the time it should say that the yard close at 5:30 not six like the sign says . The radio and everywhere else is saying 6 . we drove all the way from hwy 20 in Youngstown to check on a part and was then informed at the yard close at 5:30 .
Wear good shoes, very uneven ground. The cars are up 3 feet up. Bring a bucket to stand on.
Checking in all of our questions was answered promptly. The gentleman printed a receipt for us to find compatible parts for our vehicle. Check out was quick and prices are more than reasonable.
For just a couple bucks for an all day pass, you get access to the yard where you can find and pull your treasures. The front desk may not be able to answer every single question about every single part though but it's a big yard with new cars being added regularly, but they CAN provide you with a map of the yard and a personal list of where you should find compatible parts to your vehicle. Bring your own tools, wheelbarrows are available on site. ...if you think it'll take a while for you to get your part off, then maybe bring headphones and a soda :)
I have never been to a place like this so for me it was an interesting yet fun experience. Everyone was really nice and everything was organized nicely so things were easily found!! Thank you Meagan and staff!!
