This is the WORST dealership , I absolutely mean it . The service department are AWFUL . We bought new car in 2014 , after each rain it was a swimming pool inside the car - it is how bad it was leaking . We went to the dealership every month ( I have all documents on hand ) and they held car for 2-3 days and lied every time that they did a lot of work but NOTHING was done. After I was ready to put together all documents and sue them the car was finally repaired. This is the shame of all dealerships! Now car have electric issue because it was constantly wet . I have also MercedesE550 , Corvette C7 and Toyota Venza and I can tell you - KEEP AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS POSSIBLE !!!!

After I totalled my first car, I was in desparate need of another. I looked all over Panama City for a car that was both affordable and in good condition. When I got to Bay Cars, I was assisted by Scott Ogdie, and he took me through many different options. After I told him the kind of vehicle I was looking for, he gave me at least 10 different options. He was willing to negotiate reasonably on the price, and I was able to drive off the lot in a 2009 Chevy Traverse. He even offered to fill up my tank. If you're looking for reasonable car deals, make sure you give the folks at Bay Cars a look.

Went to another city to get a second opinion. The recall was performed successfully, and my car received a clean bill of health. No issues with the bearing. PLEASE STAY AWAY!

One day, the ABS, Hill Descent, and some other light turned on in the dashboard. They diagnose it was a Rear ABS wheel sensors that went bad. For that they quoted me $1,600 ($800 per wheel sensor). I decided not to do that job because it was not affecting the performance of the SUV, and it seems expensive for the job described (6 hours to change one sensor? 12 total.).

This review is about their Service Department, which is extremely dishonest. Don't trust anything they quote.

2 months later, a recall was issued for those sensors. I took the SUV back to get it fixed for free. I asked how long it will take to replace the 2 sensors, and the Service Agent said that was a simple repair that will take between 1-2 hours. So, I caught them lying regarding the hours it took to do the job. From 12 to 1 hour?

To make matter worse, the Service Agent told me they could not do the Recall because the wheel bearing was bad. That if I didn't replace the bearing for $1,200, the sensor will go bad within 2 days, and I will have to come back to fix both. Since I caught them already lying, I told them to return my car immediately.

Earlier this week my husband and I purchased a used Hyundai Santa Fe through another dealership in Panama City. While working out financing, we were able to take the vehicle home. While our our way back to the dealership the next day the vehicle would not start. I paniced and called Bay Hyundai to see if they knew what the problem might be. I did not want to buy a vehicle that had problems and felt like the Hyundai dealership would be up front and honest with me. I spoke to Matthew in the service department and he was so professional and helpful! The vehicle just needed a new battery (which is exactly what Matthew thought) and we ended up finalizing the deal on Wednesday. The vehicle needed recall work done and we also wanted to buy a second key and we got an appointment for Thursday. Matthew checked us in and took very good care of us! He is a true asset to the service department at Bay Hyundai! Thank you so much for all your help, we will definitely be back for oil changes and routine maintenance because of him!
