They were advertising the cheeseburger sliders when we walked in and had them on the kids menu, but they were out of them. My son switched to the sampler appetizer and then found out they were out of one of three of those items as well, the onion rings. The chicken strips tasted like leftover grocery store brand frozen strips.
A minor inconvenience, not a big deal but then the toast on the BLT was like a brick, and they were out of mayonnaise. They made an attempt to correct the toast but we received what was only slightly better and still very dry.
But what earns a one is the fact that the waiters completely avoided us and never apologized or offered to credit the meal, just acted like nothing was wrong..no courtesy whatsoever. We saw what appeared to be a manager wandering around the restaurant but never stop by to apologize or make an attempt to help. Were they too busy? I would say it was at about a 10th of capacity while we were there, but at normal "suppertime" hours.
I hope they were just having a bad night, but we witnessed that we were definitely not the only ones having a rough experience.
I'll first say that I enjoy leaving great reviews and appreciate good service, unfortunately this location was barely worth a one.
Long wait for beverages and food after we were seated. I sent my almost raw eggs back and they can back to me a little less than raw but not much. I ordered them medium. No butter on the toast and dirty coffe cups.
This was my first visit to IHOP in several years and I can honestly say with certainty that it will be my last or at the very least, my last for a long time. When my daughter and I arrived around 9pm (This place is open 24 hrs.) the place was empty except for one small family who appeared to be finishing their meal. We were seated promptly and our waitress was nice but our food was horrible. We both ordered hash browns as our side dish and both orders were burned to a black crisp on the bottom but the top half was uncooked. It appeared that the cook simply threw them on the grill, forgot that he was cooking and then some time later, scraped them off the grill and threw them on the plate. The bottom was pitch black, burnt not just "a little overcooked"
Went with my family. My sister's crepe was burnt to the point it looked like a chocolate crepe, but they deemed it worthy of being sent out. I ordered the egg white veggie omelette and it came out so incredibly oily and wet it was sickening. My mom ordered a salad with blue cheese dressing on the side and they put it in the salad. The tomato in our BLT still had the stem/core in it. And the time before last we were here there was a little bug in our food.
Sometimes long wait times, but it's not their fault. We usually go Sunday morning after church and it's probably their busiest time. The food is always great. The service has always been good. We've never had any issues.
We had to ask for refills and eventually show up at the cashier to get the bill.
