Everything was amazing from start to finish. We come here when my Grandpa visits from Georgia. He's 95 and it is his favorite restaurant in Panama City. On our recent visit, the staff helped plan a surprise birthday. Kudos to our server, Melissa, for the amazing service, patience, and kindness. We are not always the easiest family to wait on (I know from experience) but you made us feel so welcome. We appreciate it! We'll keep coming back and continue recommending.
PS Try the grouper throats if you can get them before they are gone. The grilled grouper is also amazing. My niece is picky but the kids menu is perfect. The also have chicken and steak in addition to all the great seafood. Oh, and the baked oysters were delicious.
My sister and I ate at the captains table the first night of our vacation . We both had the captains platter. It was about $28 for grilled shrimp, flounder, scallops, stuffed crab and fried clams. It came with 2 sides and hush puppies as well. They have the best Cole slaw, tartar sauce and hush puppies I've ever had. We were so full but could not quit eating. The food was awesome and so was the service. Our waitress was amazing. I'd definitely recommend eating at the captains table. Tonight is our last night of vacation before heading back to Texas and we may eat there again tonight.
Nice, local seafood house and oyster bar. Nice atmosphere and service providers are very pleasant. One of the few places in town to get fried mullet. But you gotta try the fried/broiled grouper throats. Awesome burgers, too. Really, really good. Prices are fair and not much waiting here.
Great food from a place that knows how to do seafood. Oyster Stew was delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive.
The seafood is very fresh and Florida Southern Fried is how most people prefer it prepared. We had grouper cheeks and crab cakes. Both were excellent. The ambiance is casual and eclectic: Family photos from years gone by showing enormous fish catch, Captain's chairs, and the expected seagoing accessories. This is old-Florida goodness. Very low key and friendly.
