Waitress was pleasant. Food was slightly on the disappointing side. The syrup, for example, wasn't very sweet, and the coffee was weak or watered down.

When we walked in and up to the buffet to look at what there was to eat I was at first thinking I wouldn't like any of the food. It was actually really good! It is definitely not super healthy, but if you're looking for a good cheat meal or some southern comfort food, I recommend it. Collard greens, fried chicken, fried steak, gumbo, beans, meatloaf, a small salad bar, etc. It tasted way better than it looked. The dessert selection was very good as well. Bread pudding, brownies, awesome homemade cookies, soft serve ice cream, cheese cake. This is somewhere to take the kids where everyone cab find something they like and be happy. The servers were very attentive and quick with our drink orders and bill when we asked. It is nothing fancy at all but we will be back with the kids for sure. $4.25 for kids 10 and under and $10 per adult, all you can eat. Family of four can leave stuffed and without dishes to wash for about $30.

It was worth a visit, but I'll look elsewhere the next time I'm in the area.

Breakfast Buffet on Saturday , it's become our family tradition. Everything you can imagine as well as menu items. Quick friendly service. Tables and booths, children are welcome there is a train that runs overhear and most folks enjoy watching as it goes from station to station, as they relax and enjoy their breakfast.

Decor was nice. The place has a railroad theme, along with a patriotic, pro-military thing going on. They have a military discount, but be sure to tell them ahead of time; for some reason they can't modify your check at the register.

Granny Cantrell's is a Serve Yourself Buffet and the food is the very best that I have found that can compare too good Southern Home Cooking. The cakes and pies are all handmade and delicious. I highly recommend the pecan pie. We come to Panama City Beach at least once a year and Granny Cantrell's is one of our favorite places to eat. It is not a local tourist restaurant it is a local popular restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Great home cooking. They had cabbage and corn beef that was amazing. The smothered pock chops wasn't cooked completely and the peach cobbler was to soggy and mushy, but everything else was good. I would try again. I was hurt about the peach cobbler though.

Open for lunch and dinner , come on in rain or shine you can always dine.

NO breakfast buffet, apparently. I was looking forward to it. Maybe on the weekend?
