I have visited but never been a resident.
if i could give no stars i would. the staff here is disgustingly rude and unprofessional. as soon as you walk in you get the most unwelcoming greeting from the staff. they act like they dont want to acknowledge you and have the .. WORST attitudes, when i say the worst, i mean ive never been so insulted by staff in my life. we came here to get someone i love dearly help and walked away with our hearts heavy and stomachs churning. why would anyone come to a facility in order to seek help and be so unwelcomed. if you are not going to, or want to, help the people who walk into your facility, why are you even working there? nothing about this place made us want to go to another facility for help. it in fact turned us away from wanting to find help due to the fear of other facilities also being this disgusting towards people in need. DO NOT COME HERE PLEASE.
This place is a waist of time unless you or a family member are in need of some lock up time. Im not saying that the staff or employees are bad, there is just no therapy at all. What "therapy" there is consists of trying to suggest medicines to bandaid your issues or non focused group therapy that is good for general depression but, terrible at working with more specific issues such as autism or schizophrenia.
Absolutely horrible. When I was there it was for severe suicidal thoughts and clinical depression. All they did was put me on meds I couldn't handle. When they were sending me home I told them that I felt I was going to kill myself if I did, the head doctor replied "oh well, you can't stay here" and then sent me home. The whole place is an absolute joke. The nurse was rude and wouldn't allow you to decide anything in your treatment plan and often yelled at us. I hate this place and hopefully never have to go back
This hospital claims to offer help to people dealing with mental health issues in need but that is absolutely not the case. It is my opinion the hospital is a business first and will keep the people with insurance while throwing the ones without, out early. The people with insurance are held longer and their needs are never addressed nor met. There is no therapy, the group therapy is an absolute joke. You are told you have a treatment team which is supposed to include a psychiatrist, social worker, nurse, therapist etc when in fact you don't meet these people nor interact with them....Dr. Pancheva is the worst psychiatrist I have ever encountered. She doesn't listen to your needs and will put you on meds you cannot tolerate or in the past have not worked for you and even hold you against your will, even when you are 100% ok. Please reconsider if you believe this is the place for you. It is not. It is demeaning, unproductive and an insurance scam.
I know a few frequent fryers that return for seasonal stays.
Expectedly Expensive.
