I personally had a great experience at Dr.Patel's office. I was having chest pain off and on, I called the office and was worked in the next day, Dr. Patel was very patient, and explained every thing I was to expect. I had two test in the office, and received the results within a couple of days. One of the test came back abnormal ( Nuclear stress test). I was told I needed to have a heart cath, which of course scared me. Dr. Patel talked to me personally, and was able to set my mind at ease. All visits there after were very prompt, and professional. I normally do not post reviews, however after reading what I consider to be a very bad review for one of the kindest doctors I have encountered , I felt the need to let people know. I have personally never heard anything other than good things about Dr. Samir Patel, in fact after my heart cath, I did not have any bruising, and was able to go about my days, as if I had not had a procedure done. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone having any heart problems. I do understand however, when I go to a physician's office there may be a wait time, especially when the doctor is a specialist, and may be saving someone else's life. It is very hard for me to believe that someone had that bad of experience at this office, and if they did, I did notice the staff offered a survey, so I would hope instead of complaining on a google site, why wouldn't you just fill the survey out, or called the office manager, or CEO of the practice.
Would not recommend this doctor to anyone who was interested in learning more about a diagnosis involving one's heart. After visiting the facility several times to undergo various tests concerning heart function, I was intetested in finally seeing a doctor to ask questions about the tests and discuss treatments and medications. When I finally got a chance to see the doctor, he had in his room a woman I understood to be his assistant or some other employee. He was more interested in her than he was in me, his patient. I had made several trips to the facility for tests, which took several hours each visit, and was eagerly awaiting the results and a chance to ask qurstions.

Dr Patel was not interested in a discussion with me. He dismissed me with this information: ""Your heart is working at 50 percent capacity," and then his assistant gave me a prescription (for the same medicine I was altrady taking) and sent me on my way. I was shocked to hear what he said and had questions to ask. However, he indicated to his assistant to write a prescription and sent me on my way. No time to ask questions or no talk of another appointment. Interestingly, I told him the medicine previously prescribed wasn't working for me. Guess what? He apparently didn't hear me or listen because I was given a new prescriotion forthe same medicine.
In my experience, this doctor was of the most unprofessional and callous doctors I have ever seen. He may have been more interested in his assistant than he was in me. But I was paying for the appointment; and my life is on the line. I deserved his full attention and interest. Needless to say, I will not be going back to see him!
Thank you Dr. Patel for taking such good care of my dad. You always take the time to explain everything to my satisfaction and very accommodating with scheduling procedures. Our experience has been beyond excellent!! I would highly recommend Dr. Patel.
Dr. Patel quite literally saved my life early one morning when I had just minutes left to live. The care that I have received since gives me confidence that I can live a normal and productive life. He is an EXCELLENT Dr and a fantastic person. Many-many thanks to him.
