Just met the Dr on Tuesday. The wait was much longer than expected but they had several emergencies and they apologized profusely! I like Dr Mike. He was friendly and knowledgeable and LISTENED to me. He insisted on doing a procedure on me next week even though his schedule was full and he will be having his own surgery soon. He wanted to reduce my pain to buy me some time He even set up a following appt a week later to have other injections to make sure i am pain free while he is gone . We have a plan set in place and I have FULL confidence in him.
Not only is Dr McCormick an amazing Dr & Surgeon, his entire staff is as well. I've seen several orthopedic doctors in Panama City (including several surgeries) & believe Dr McCormick & his staff are steps above any other I've seen, (including knowledge, skill, friendliness, & compassion). Insurance companies are the reason I've seen several in the past & blessed they sent me to him over 3 years ago.

I tore my ACL this past Monday, and urgent care sent me to MRI and Dr. McCormick's office for referral. Being a holiday I did not expect to be seen so soon but got in and out as a new patient in a little more than an hour (paperwork included). I got x-rays, review of my MRI, and saw the PA Joey and the entire visit was pleasant.. other than confirming my injury and setting a surgery date. I had a pre op, surgery date and post surgery date all set before leaving. Was given clear instruction on how to go about regaining strength before surgery and the entire staff were very nice and friendly. I look forward to continuing my treatment moving forward.
