If you're expecting a jolly outgoing personality DR. your in the wrong place... If you're looking for a down to business, hard working, understanding helpful Doctor... You have found him. I found that the staff were friendly and helpful with all my questions.
Dr. Jacob always spends all of the time needed to listen to me, do an exam and make sure I understand fully the care he feels I need. Many MDs don't even see their patients just have the PA take care of you. I highly recommend him to others. My health has improved dramatically since being under his care.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. The front desk receptionist was very kind and friendly and that's the only good thing I can say about my visit. I would not be so cruel as to send my worst enemy there as they truly deserve better. Read the reviews believe them and seek any other opinion. I would have been better off calling any random number in the phone book and asking them what they thought was wrong with me.
I was concerned after reading all the reviews that were negative, but I could not have had a better experience. Dr. Jacob is great and very thorough and his office staff was very nice and went out of their way to help us. I'm very pleased with dr. Jacob and his staff.
My daughter was referred to Dr. Jacobs by her Orthopedic Specialist. I found the office staff to be EXCEPTIONALLY rude. I was not allowed to go back with my daughter, I was NEVER ALLOWED TO MEET THE DOCTOR, and my daughter said his bed side manner was terrible and she never wished to see him again. His office has VERY limited hours, I had a difficult time reaching anyone at the office for questions, and when I did finally reach them, they are rude and unhelpful. If you have Neurology needs look elsewhere in Panama City, or travel to another city for your care!
