Gears screwed me over. They told me they could fix my transmission and work a payment plan out with me, I gave them $700 up front (every penny to my name) and I was supposed do payments weekly. After they kept my car for two weeks they finally told me they can't fix it, and then refused to give me my money back! They gave me $200 back and told me I could do a shop credit. Haven't heard from them since and honestly they stole $500 from me. So I think it's a bunch of criminals working there and I will never recommend that shop to anyone. I will tell anybody to stay as far away from that place as possible. Thanks for stealing $500 from me.
Still in the process of having them warranty their work with a reciept. They said whoever filled it did so wrong. He no longer works for them.
Jay is a crook. I was quoted 2 prices one was for a rebuild the other was a new transmission. Forgot something and had to return midday to retrieve it from vehicle and talked with the mechanic. He was spray painting the housing. I asked if it was a new tranny and he confirmed it was not. I'm pretty sure it was just a torque converter. But anyways already paid in full 1700.00. Don't do buisness with this crook.
They worked with me on paying for my vehicle before getting it fixed. They actually kept it in their yard while I got the money to pay for it. Very friendly owner. Was a pleasure dealing with gears. Need work done they'll work with you. Very professional people. Though they worked with me to pay for my truck when i took it back to have the shifter cable replaced i was given an outlandish price of 269.00 for the cable to the and 300.00 for labor. I bought the part OEM replacement from AC DELCO for 60.00 and replaced it myself in about 3 hours. Don't get ripped
Went by Gears to have my transmission serviced. BoBo ran a free diagnostic for me and identified a major problem with the tranny and recommended I take it straight to the dealership as the truck was still under warranty. Lesser people would have simply done the service to the truck, taken my money and sent me on down the road. Thank God for Gears honesty and integrity. BTW...Bill Cramer confirmed the diagnosis and the truck is still under warranty.....by 2 week’s, Praise the Lord! Thank you Gears!
