They were so kind to invite veterans and their families for a free trip. We got to see dolphins, the kids had a great time, the hosts were really really nice. And we got a wonderful Keepsake picture of our family on the bow of the boat. They had hot dogs and hamburgers and snacks down on the boat as well which was great for a little snack before lunch
Enjoyed a half days fishing with Uncle Hank. The experience on the dock was unexpectedly poor. Instead of fish being cleaned by the deckhands on the dock like I was used to, Captain Anderson's has additional profit layer for another vendor to clean the fish and package it. The trio who were on the job this day were efficient and customer service oriented, but very busy. We waited over an hour to pick up our catch. While picking it up one of the trio lost his temper about something. The ensuing argument between two of the crew nearly turned violent, with cursing, threats, and chest bumping within sight of children.
Dockside Seafood and Oyster House service was extremely slow. Had to seat ourselves. Online menu and prices were not the same once we got there. Do not recommend. One bartender and 2 wait staff. A/C was not working properly . They had a fan going. Main bar was not staffed. Had to go and find waiter for refills. Food was a 5 out of 10.
Wow they really know how to feed a lot of people here. Food was average but great selection. Worth the experience and great for large groups. Just not intimate enough for couples.
What a way to end a great week on Panama City Beach. The trip was amazing, great staff, beautiful view, and just simply relaxing. If you have a chance, go and enjoy a trip with the Captain Anderson crew you won't be disappointed.
