I went in this morning to file for my Social Security retirement benefits without an appointment. After about 15 minutes I was called back to a window and was then directed to a computer, where an assistant would answer my questions as I keyed in my information. The assistant was very knowledgeable and very courteous. I completed the application and was out of the office in less than 45 minutes.
Was put on hold and no one ever came to the phone.

I visited the Lynn Haven office last week and had an outstanding experience. I did not have a scheduled appointment and got in a short line before the doors opened. The staff members who assisted me were professional, friendly and thorough. I really appreciated the great service they provided.
Just recently I sent called in and reported my income for the month of June. I was told that they did not get it when I called and I received the info in the mail saying it was reported. That's the only thing that really saved me because they are quick to say you did not do something when they are really not doing their job.
