I wish so badly that I could leave less than one star. I would love to take stars away from them. This management company is complete rubbish. You sign a lease and are expected to keep up your end of the agreement, you know, maintaining the house (which was already in shambles) and paying your rent on time. However, the lovely people at Nautilus have not once come out to help with anything around the apartment. Our carpet, when we moved in was already wrecked, and yet we're supposed to pay to repair it, and clean it? Heck no. Our water heater busted and left a hole in the ceiling, and they assured us that we would have that fixed, has it been? Heck no. Electrical outlets, which were reported before officially moving in were loose, have yet to be fixed, and the water damage/smoke damage from the previous tenants, I'm sure I'll be charged for. And after we received our letter about renewing the lease, or giving them sixty days notice and we sent them our notice...what do you know...they lost it. I can already tell from reading reviews not to expect any form of my security deposit back, although my husband and I have made repairs around the home, and had to fix things that they would not come out and fix, so if you're thinking about signing up with them to manage your rental property, Forget it. If you're thinking about renting from them because they seem nice DON'T! Its a trap. That's how it starts out, they are all sweet and helpful, but as soon as you sign the lease, and they hand you the keys, its all over. You're on your own.
This was the worst experience we have ever had in our life. This company is horrible the reviews are all bad and I can't believe they are still in business. The entire office family and they are all horrible people. Do Not Rent from this company. You will be sorry if you do.
This is by far the worst rental company I've ever been through, it deserves no stars. My wife and I got a townhome from them we paid 825 a month said okay sure it's kind of high for what it was but we were giving the benefit of the doubt cause they said they were going to fix things, it was a 2 bed 1 bath and it was not worth it cause when we moved in we realized First of all the back door couldn't even lock there's a safety issue right there, next our window leaks everytime it rains and we even had to move our table so it didn't ruin it. When we got our washer and dryer installed they said there was something with the water and to get it looked at that also didn't get fixed none of it did! Also there was a huge crack in the wall in the laundry room where bugs were coming in and they told us that sounds like a pest problem to cal pest control and they used popcorn ceiling to cover up a leak before we moved in and the leak in our master bedroom started showing through it and we could here something dripping in our room in our ceiling when it rained we made many maintenance requests! Many and they didnt attend one of them I even called to ask multiple times then when it came time we wanted to move out we weren't aloud to break our lease but if we had the owners approval then we could find someone to rent it and then we could move out thy not once talked to the owner about it and every time I called and asked if they had talked to the owner they said they couldn't get a hold of them we gave up and moved out early and let them keep the deposit and when I read the reviews on here I just knew we weren't the only one! Don't go here they are the worst and not organized or reliable at all! Good luck to anyone that does!
This is the one realty management company my husband and I always tell other renters to STAY AWAY from!!Highly unprofessional.Terrible customer service.Unethical.It took over four months out of a 12 month lease to have a handyman take care of a repair we called right away on. When we decided not to renew our lease,they literally let other possible renter's just come to the house out of the blue to look at the property. No phone calls,no agent,no appointment, nothing. My husband is in the military and I am by myself a lot with my children.This made me so unnerved that strangers were told to just swing by for a month,banging on the door at all times,I was a wreck by the time we got out. Terrible accounting practices too. I have a good friend who rented from them as well.He paid his rent on time in cash on the first,in person...only to get an eviction warning later in the month for non payment of rent..When he went to the office the woman(they're all so rude) looked him right in the eye and said it never happened.When he produced his receipt,she literally opens her top desk drawer and magically found his envelope of cash. He put his notice in that day. Save your family the stress and go somewhere else to rent! I find it interesting only the home owners,and the business are leaving positive reviews.Listen to the tenants! To this day if I see their logo across a listing,I keep looking.
They have some properties that I’m interested in but I will not deal with this company. I have called multiple times and nobody wants to help me. David will blow you off in a heartbeat. Very rude with no customer service skills or personality. Wish you didn’t even have to put a star. They don’t deserve any.
We had been in the home about three months and the dryer went out. We called them and it took three months to get a dryer. Then the dishwasher went out about two months on that one. The fridge door fell off the hinges three times, they kept fixing the door. Then the dryer goes out again and they never came to fix it so I had to buy one. The roof leaked the entire time we were there. They never fixed it. We lived in this house a year and a half. We loved the area and I looked out for every house on the street. I kept the yard lookin like HGTV. We treated the home as if it were ours. Then Spring came and the house was Hot, really hot. We called and called and asked them to check the AC. They finally sent someone out and he told them the unit was shot and would go out. We kept trying to run the old unit and our light bills were almost 500.00 and the house was still 88 degrees. After three months of no AC and 500.00 bills I told them I was withholding rent until the unit was fixed. They finally sent someone to replace the unit. I asked them to be fair and reduce the rent for a month to help with the AC bills and the fact we had no AC. These idiot filled papers for eviction. They must have the judge in their back pocket because Judge Welch ruled in their favor. We are currently suing Nautilus Property Management and the owner of the home Betty Keefe.
Let me start my story with how bad of shape the home we leased was in. When we looked st the home we overlooked the overgrown yard and the exterior mold and stains. The house was right we're we wanted to be and we loved the area. The real estate add said great beach home with pool and yard service included in rent. Two weeks before we were to move in I hired a company to wash the house and patio. I then had someone trim the overgrown shrubs and clear the debris. Then we started on the pool it had six inches of mud in it. I spent 6,000 before we ever moved in. Yes, on a rental.... I know I was stupid. We went to sign the lease and they told us they were taking out the pool and yard service. We were upset but continued on with lease. When we got the keys to get inside we found that the previous tenants had smoked in the house and everything was covered with nicotine. We had to paint the entire house and have the carpets cleaned six times.
