Michelle in flooring gave me the best customer service I've ever had at a store of anykind. She is amazing. I normally shop at home Depot but she has made me a Lowe's man by going way above and beyond. Thank you .
Bought a washer 6 days ago...over $600 because the one I wanted wasn't in stock and they "couldn't order it." It's 530pm. Delivery guy called at 11am...said it would come this afternoon and they would call. Didn't call. Hunted them down and they said give it 2 hours....excuse me? That's night time...after my kids go to bed. Great. Terrible experience...especially since I had to hunt someone down just to help me both times I went to the store.
Was completely ignored by the staff, even though I was in a scooter and my husband had a cane. Personnel in the refrigerator department didn't even acknowledge my presence. Waited on everyone else but us. After about 20-30 minutes of doing laps around the refrigerators, I figured that Lowe's didn't want my money! That's ok. The customer service was much better at Sears, where they greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, and yes, they were busy as well, but acknowledged our presence to let us know that someone would be right with us. So I spent my money at Sears!
Many times you may need assistance in stores yet cannot find someone readily willing to help you. Today at Lowe's, I had to thank the person that helped load 90 boards, by himself onto my trailer in the this heat. The entire time he was loading the trailer, he was in a very cheerful mood (when many, I can assure you, would not have been). There should be more workers like "Cliff" to work in the outside lumber yard. Thank you again, Cliff for your help and for being so polite.
Recently visited this lowes again to see if it has improved sadly it has not. The prices on electrical tools is far above its competition across the road. The lowes beach side is a complete 180 of this particular branch in pretty much every aspect. Which in my experience means is a failure at the management level.
