An excellent way to stay within your budget! I buy the majority of my groceries at Piggly Wiggly, Panama City Florida! Even though you can save on MOST items, you do have to watch the prices. Some items are more expensive than other retail grocers. All of this being said, the Pig is always my 1st choice in grocery shopping!
It is a good store. The Piggy Wiggly by my house is always full and usually clean. The only problem I have is that the store doesn't carry all the available items whether of that particular kind or them item its self. You will still have to go to Walmart or Publix. But it does carry most of them and is very convenient.
This store has great prices, is well stocked in the produce, meat, freezer, canned goods & deli departments. It is a cost plus 10% store. I love to explore grocery stores and this one is a foodie's delight. It is a very busy store and the staff is friendly and helpful! The deli has homestyle plates available every day for a reasonable price!
I always buy ground turkey and chicken breast from Piggly wiggly but I went in yesterday and they had nothing I needed in the store. I went in for a couple things they used to carry and they had nothing I stopped for I ended up going to Publix to get the items I needed and they were actually cheaper than Piggly wiggly usually is on the meats I needed. I will go back one more time when I need some things and if they actually have what I need I will edit my review. Also the cashier's used to be so friendly and now certain ones barely speak much less look up at you. They also took so long I have never waited in lines so long as I did yesterday everyone was complaining about the amount of time it was taking
