B.) They always seem bored, angry or eating... They also seem very disinterested in the customers, and most of the time even annoyed by your presence. Their lack of concern and very poor customer service makes me surprised that they are still in business.

Do no support this business. Definitely not American owned, store is closing and moving to 15th St Panama City FL by the flea market. Screaming at decent customer if customer made a mistake about not having cash to pay.... There is a sign... cass only. You said dis.you sed dat... attitude. Totally unAmerican way of doing business..Do not support business like this. Buy somewhere else. Not worth her rude attitude and unfriendly ways to local customers.... She is so rude. And who knows, maybe she is here illegally too!!

D.) MANY of their items are expired or seconds away from expiring. If you notice any items you purchased expired when you got home… tough crap – when you try to bring it back you’ll get a response similar to: “You bought this long time ago - don’t lie!” – regardless if this purchase was made via your 1st visit, the day before.

Never had an issue, love the drinks and very helpfull when needing a case for my phone, they were spot on!

- Of course this store is not American owned, does this surprise you?

C.) If they’ve got what you are looking for GREAT! If they don’t already have plans to order your item in question prior to your input on said item... they're not getting crap for you. Ex.) There is a Korean Ramen that I love (I know it's bad for you - shuddup LOL) and you can get them individually, in 5 packs and a box of 20. Obviously getting them in bulk is cheaper, so I tried to buy the box and they wouldn't let me saying "it's not for you, it's for shelf". I asked them if they had the 5 packs (that are even available at WAL-MART down the road) and she said "no we don't do that", so I asked with a big smile "could you order some?" and she answered by vehemently shaking her head no while walking away.

A.) They don't give a good God %$#@ about you OR your wants, needs, concerns, questions OR well-being:

E.) Trying to get a discount on expired items will also never happen. They will quickly snap the item out of your hand, while snapping at you that “Then don’t buy! Someone else will buy!”, while walking away to put the item back on the shelf.

That being said, I love this store with all my heart. I have been visiting it since I moved here many years ago. Sad that it's moving over to 15th, I won't be able to visit as often, but for the people who may see this review: I do recommend!

F.) If you buy frozen items and you find that they are freezer burned – according to Max Savings policy - this, too, will also be your fault – since “freezer burn” does not exist in the holy realm of Max Savings land. Since the items are freezer burned, and that is your fault – no refund for you. A friend of mine noticed the items were freezer burned just as he exited their door, while double-checking that all his items were in the bag. He immediately turned around, walking back into the store and after waiting 5 minutes for someone to grace him with their presence, told them the items he just purchased were freezer burned, and asked if he could switch them out. He told me they immediately called him a liar, and yelled that there’s no proof of when he bought it. He said “I got these 5 minutes ago, remember?! I just left and came right back in! I didn’t even make it to my car when I noticed these were bad!” They’re response “They not bad, you liar!”

A.) I like that I can get products that are not normally available to me (since I live in Mayberry). By getting them locally, I'm able to save on the markup that is usually added to "unusual"/"unique" products - even on Amazon. (STARS EARNED: 1)

B.) I like that they have a variety of products available for their perishable and non-perishable goods. (STARS EARNED: 1)

- "Maybe she is here illegally too" please consider the legal processes one must undergo, especially a foreigner, when opening a business

- The people who work here are very nice and very polite if you are not rude to them. If you are rude to an employee, which judging by how you're talking about this woman I suspect you might have been, you can't just expect them to sing you praises.

CONS:

10/10!

My hubby went there to buy me some pandan cake because I was craving it and was told that to use his card, the purchase price had to be at least $5 so he added an energy drink. Total was supposed to be $5.60, but after swiping his card, the lady told him she had accidentally charged him $56.00!!! She and her husband tried to get him to sign TWO receipts...a refund slip and one that authorized the charge. He only signed the refund slip because he did not authorize the charge. Well, after two days of the money missing from our bank and the charge floating in pending hell, it actually POSTED today, and now, we've got to go dispute that charge with our bank/credit card company. Never refunded and an extremely UNSATISFIED customer. Advice: when you run a business, AT LEAST know what the hell you're doing. Mistakes happen anywhere. It's FIXING them that matters :(

It has great prices and they treat their customers amazingly. They have a great variety of items for sale and can meet your every need for a fair cost.

PROS:

Posting this review only because I adore this store and I'm bitter about a couple of the comments:

G.) LESSON: Buyer beware… [the following is not a racist statement, just a fact:] Many places in Asia, one will be required to sell their first born to return an item (because of the many horrible people that ruined it for the rest of us by trying to return items they’ve worn, with evident damage)… perhaps they’re stuck with this mentality, not caring that they are in the US now? An establishment, like Max Savings, takes it to the extreme - they don’t care what you’re returning, nor when you bought it – and just care about paying their bills.
