Great local hangout where everyone is cool! Pool tables and Karaoke on the weekends with a great view of the bay
I always have the same drinks for every visit, a simple combination or scotch on the rocks and a separate ale which usually totals up to 9.50. I have always payed 15 dollars every time regardless of the service quality.
I have said or done nothing to her that may impact her attitude towards my presence. She is simply not cut out for the job. Even through my petty aggravation I still tipped her 3.50.
The drinks are usually good and the staff has rarely failed to keep order across the board in both high volume and the slower paced, relaxed hours throughout the day.
I like this spot and always recommend it to the people who are seeking a 2am+ bar.
This is my 5th visit which she was my bartender, there is no excuse as to why I am treated like I don't even exist. I have consistently tipped the staff above 50% because I am in a service position myself and I understand that we all have good and bad days so I don't let some instances affect my desicion to compensate hard working people for their efforts.
I can no longer justify tipping 50%+ to this employee while she actively ignores me, either through her phone which she can't seem to put down, or by conversing with who ever may be her favorite person or group of people for that period.
It's so nasty and taking 10 steps in feels like 100 steps out. They don't call it the dirty south for nothing.
However, a new bartender who goes by the name Jasmine has consistently failed to provide service to even a mediocre degree, she is an indescribably total failure for lack of better words... a malignant presence that is corroding the essence of the atmosphere in this establishment.
This bar has been my first choice for late, late night drinks for what feels like nearly a decade at this point. It is the epicenter of the city's diverse and ceaseless stock of service persons who never fail to bring a unique and often surprising character to the already burgeoning crowd of devotees and fanatics.
She plays favorites and those who for one reason or another that haven't earned her respect are treated as if they don't exist. Even while business is slow she tends to her personal matters and seems to go out of her way to avoid helping some patrons including myself.
Jasmine however, is as effortless as a feather in the wind or a rock in a clearing.... I've seen more action from the hour hand of a clock with a dead battery.
Please remedy this behavior beforenits too late. Thank you.
Used to be a great dive bar to go to and enjoy all walks of life. Now it's being ran into the ground by the owner who is too busy doing cocaine or other drugs. In addition to this they fire any good bar tenders and hire new ones that skip songs they don't like and take shots when no one's looking.
Had several nice social gatherings here. Plenty of things to do inside - games, tv, variety of music, and conversation. Love to play pool here! Drinks were made by certified, knowledgeable, and courteous bartenders.
