We have have to Panama City numerous times, but have not gotten to eat here. Last night was our first time and it was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful about the menu. All of the food we ordered was on point. We will definitely be back.
Dining there if tonight if we can get a table. Level 6 guide, will give full report. Sept. 17, 2017 time 7:34 walking towards door. Was seated within a few minutes. Summer Splash aperitif was outstanding. Our waitress had a sardonic since of humor, outstanding. Sent lobster back, not hot. They recovered nicely. Will be back.

Just got done with Schooners. Great first experience. The wings. OMG. Calamari cooked darn near future perfect. Crab cakes were great and their Schooner burger isn't for the faint of heart...its huge and tasty. Worth the wait if you have one when you go.
Excellent view since it sits on the beach and the signal cannon at sundown is a nice touch.
Schooners is our new favorite Panama City Beach restaurant. The setting is so beach (and after all, what do we come to the beach for anyway?). We sit where we can see the sand and the water and boats going by. We share an appetizer (cheese curds are awesome!) that is on our table in a flash. Then we order a Grouper sandwich with fries to share and ask that the sandwich be cut for us. Not only was it cut, but it was on separate plates with lots of fries on each. The fried Grouper is as good as any we have had anywhere. We have been trying to cut back on calories, but we both cleaned our plates. We'll eat light tonight. All in all, we always have a great beach experience at Schooners!
Yum yum yum!! My family and I have visited Schooner's for years and have thoroughly enjoyed every single chance we have had the pleasure of dining here. The staff is kind, the view of the beach is beautiful, and the food is delicious! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good food and a care free atmosphere!
