We bring our dogs who have a big yard and lots of freedom at home to play, eat and go potty to Naju to help them socialize. We don't need a sitter since I'm always at home. Sadly it seems the place is more for people to bring their dogs somewhere while they're away all day to prevent their dogs from having separation anxiety and wrecking their houses. The reason I feel this way is that I don't get the impression that a lot of emphasis is put on play and fun. I could be wrong. Its just the feeling Naju gives me. Our dogs are definitely more comfortable being social in a dog park settings and even on walks after taking them there regularly, so we continue to go. One of my dogs gets some sort of rash every time we take her here, though we've been preventing flare ups by bathing her immediately after. Even when one of us goes in for just a few minutes, we come out reeking of citrus cleaner, and the dogs smell of it when they get picked up, though the staff has insisted they use no such thing. I wish there was a doggie daycare around that was more fun and relaxing for my dogs, especially for the money.
They are my fuzzy kids 2nd family!!! They are the only place I have ever felt completely comfortable leaving my babies. The grooming attention is amazing and affordable! They play then get spoiled in the grooming room. The kids love it so much that when we drive by I get the bad eye for not stopping.
Love how tired my puppy comes home from doggy daycare.. lol
This place is great. Every time we bring our dogs, whether it be for daycare or to board them, the literally are yanking the leashs out of our hand to greet the caretakers. Whenever we walk in as well the know our dogs by name without asking us our names. I would say it is a touch pricey but worth it for my dogs.
My dog went there about 3 years ago while I was on vacation and I went by the pics on the website so it looked great. However, I recently went there on vacation and I requested a tour. It is Not what I thought it would be. While the staff was friendly enough, they were few and far between considering all the dogs that were there. When we went in the back to the boarding and daycare there were SO many dogs(atleast 100 or more) in cages just barking and barking. It was so loud. None of them looked happy to me. And I didn't see any playing or anyone supervising them. They were just standing there looking sad or stressed. I felt bad for them. The pretty pictures of them playing out in the water park is deceiving. They only get to go out 1 time during the day for an hour.I don't understand why they cannot have more outdoor play time, they certainly have the outdoor space. The doggy daycares I have used in the past have the dogs in the yard all day. I am NOT saying this is a bad daycare, not at all. I would just suggest you request a tour of the facility. It all depends on what you expect and want for your dog. It was not what I would want or allow for my dog.
